Lucy at three months!
Now that I’m never again shopping at Babies R Us, Amazon is my go to store for baby supplies. (See updated pic of my baby at right!) Last week I discovered an amazing Amazon deal when I returned a baby swaddling blanket
The blanket, which I highly recommend for new parents, helps my daughter Lucy sleep by keeping her tightly wrapped up. She grew out of size small so I ordered her a larger size. Each SwaddleMe blanket cost just under $10 when I bought them.

I was curious if Amazon Mom was a good deal because a frugal friend told me she orders all her toiletries through Amazon instead of pouncing on drugstore freebies and deals. Having just taken advantage of a 20% off sale at CVS.com, I was eager to compare prices. Did I get the best deal?
If you’ve new to Amazon Mom, it is free to join and offers free two-day shipping and a 30% discount on diapers and wipes when you sign up for auto delivery. Everything outside the baby store is 15% off and still eligible for two-day free shipping.

Kim emailed me saying she is selling things her family doesn’t need to bring in extra income. I failed at selling my crap on eBay so I had to know how Kim is doing it. She writes:
My husband is recently in the job market, so the family finances needed a boost. He had been an avid dvd collector and my #1 son told me to sell off some of the dvds that we weren’t interested in watching again. I just put in the serial number on the back and the website told me whether they were selling or not, and approximately what price they would sell for. We keep about 40 on Amazon
