Horse exerciser – Like the name indicates, these people ride horses to exercise and condition them for racing. Model Maker – It’s like playing with wood blocks! Remember them from kindergarten? A model maker creates, designs, and constructs tools and parts in a variety of materials such as wood and plastic. They use blueprints, drawings, and/or CAD designs to create models. These people may also be required to perform minor repair on model making machinery. The job requires a high school degree and 2 to 5 years of experience in the field. The median salary is $48,280.

Farrier – Ok, maybe I’m just obsessed with horses, but how cool would it be to put shoes on them? Aren’t horseshoes supposed to bring you luck? A farrier may be required to complete an apprenticeship and jobs usually require up to 2 years of experience in the field. The median salary is $21,068. Quite low, no?

Biomedical Photographer – Photograph patients, operating room procedures, and autopsy specimens (Yikes!). They also design layouts and materials for special projects. Selects the most technically correct, cost effective and efficient method for photographing subjects. The job requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 2-4 years of related experience. May require a technical certification. The median salary is $49,145.

Motor Racer – Vroom, vroom! Drive an automobile racing car in competition road races. No formal education is required, you just need to know the sport’s practices, policies, rules and regulations. The median salary is $49,145 — same as the biomedical photographer.
