Free batteries - On Christmas Day, Blockbuster is giving away free batteries in all stores from noon to 10 p.m. Chose from AA or AAA batteries. Unclear how many free batteries come in each pack – I’m guessing two. Got an email into the company to confirm. You can buy additional battery packs for $0.99, while supplies last.

I’ve sent holiday ecards, traditional paper cards, and skipped the whole process some years. But there’s nothing like hearing from friends and family. Sometimes hearing from folks I’m no longer in touch with (except for their holiday letter) are the ones I enjoy the most.
My husband thinks it’s ridiculous that people only get in touch because it’s Christmas. But he’s just being grumpy. Wouldn’t you rather hear from friends and family than not at all? I can promise you my holiday card this year is going to be devoted to my little bun (who is still in the oven).
