I’m sad to announce that Yazmin has taken a new job and will only be writing one post a week – on Tuesdays – for BargainBabe.com. Yazmin was the first person I hired and in the past 3 years she has proven herself a hard worker, a quick learner, and extremely reliable. Not to mention she is a savvy saver and spender. I am truly sad to see her go and wish her the best of luck.
In her place, Dacia will takeover many aspects of keeping BargainBabe.com running, including the daily freebies post. Dacia will also write on Saturdays. Her first post was about the pros and cons of living at home after college.
Please join me in thanking Yazmin for her years of service to this wonderful money saving community. And please help me in welcoming Dacia to the BargainBabe.com family!
~ Julia

Yazmin, Good luck in your future endeavors and thanks for all the great articles, recipes and other tips.
@fran You’re welcome! Always good to hear from you.
Yazmin, I wish you luck in your new job!!
@Evie K Thank you! I’m having so much fun sharpening my digital skills in the newsroom.
Good luck Yazmin!! I enjoyed all your posts!
@Michelle Thank you so much! I appreciate your always being such an active member of the BB community.
Yazmin, it was a pleasure meeting you back in the old days of BB and Frugal Fest, and so nice to continue our acquaintance on a personal level. Whatever your future holds, I wish you all the best. Please keep in touch with e-mail updates on what you’re doing. HUGS ~ EL
@EllieD Thanks! I always pass by Canoga Park on my way to work and I’m reminded of all the fun we had at Frugal Fest Food.
Yazmin, I’ve really enjoyed your posts on Bargain Babe over the last 3 years. Good luck in your new job and wherever life takes you!
@N. Davis Thanks so much! When I first started at Bargain Babe while still in college, I didn’t plan to work at Bargain Babe for so long — it’s been almost four years! But this job is fun, I learned lots, and I got to interact with readers — who’ve practically become friends. I also had a rockin’ boss.
Good luck Yasmin, welcome darcia
@KK Thank you!
Hi, again, Yazmin–
All these good wishes remind me of how we signed yearbooks in school:
2 good
2 be
+_______
4-gotten
While I’ve sent you my sincere wishes privately, it seems fitting to say good-bye here, where we first said hello.
@Diane Yes! I was thinking the same thing about the yearbooks. I’m really busy now, but I’ll try to KIT.
@Yazmin ~ Re KIT: I hope so. I have lots of witnesses.
Thank you all for wishing Yazmin well! It’s amazing to see proof of the relationships we’ve all made over the years. Yazmin, we really are going to miss you!
