FlipKey – Is relatively new as it went live in 2008 and it’s owned by TripAdvisor. The site is driven by guest reviews. Properties are high-end. If you list your property on FlipKey, it will automatically be listed on TripAdvisor. Price to List: $299.99 for an annual listing or $34.99 for a monthly subscription. There’s a 60-day FREE trail to start.
VRBO.com – Claims over 200,000 listings worldwide – most of which are located in the U.S. You can include a video tour of your home when you list the property. Properties are high-end. Price to list: $349 annually
Craigstlist – Listings are a mix of luxury homes to cabins with decades old furniture. You’ll have to vet the potential renters. Price to list: FREE
VacationHomeRentals.com – Claims to be the largest independent vacation rental site in North America representing more than 13,200 properties in all 50 states and in 89 countries. You’ll find listings for luxury and affordable homes. Price to list: There’s a 30 day FREE trail. $119 per year
