Have you seen this video of Black Friday shoppers clawing at each other to get to a pile of smartphones? This video was apparently shot at a Walmart, though I was not able to confirm that. I found the Black Friday video through The Telegraph newspaper.
Seeing it makes me really ashamed to be part of Black Friday! I had no idea the ads and deals I have been sharing lead to this kind of crazed shopping. Why wouldn’t these people stay home and shop online? Does anyone actually enjoy being pushed and shoved? What about the guy in the brown shirt who gets tossed out of the crowd?

This is exactly why I shop online! I’ve heard way too many horror stories about Black Friday in store shopping that I’ve been scarred for life.
I do the same as Susan and shop the Black Friday deals online instead! With the exception of “doorbusters” (which are usually the deals people get shoved & trampled trying to get anyway…no thank you!), almost every store now offers their Black Friday prices online as well. I ordered a few things on Thanksgiving Day while watching the Macy’s parade and didn’t venture out on Friday at all! I did have to pay a nominal shipping charge with some retailers, but for others shipping was free, or I was able to avoid a shipping fee by opting to pick it up in the store instead. It was great!
Never shop on Black Friday! And Never Will!
