What is incredible is Walmart’s “1-Hour In-Stock Guarantee“ on three Black Friday doorbusters: the Emerson 32″³ HDTV for $148, the LG Blu-ray Player for $38 and the Apple iPad 2 w/ $75 Gift Card for $399. That means these three items are guaranteed to be in stock from 10-11 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. If they sell out, you can get a “Guarantee Card” which guarantees you can buy the item for the Black Friday price and receive it before Christmas. I wonder how rivals will respond.
