I would say that the only drawback to using a toilet cleaner like this is that you can no longer use the toilet tank water as an emergency source of water in case of a disaster. I know, doesn’t sound particularly appealing, but if you need water, you can’t be too picky. Plus, if it’s still in the tank, it should be relatively clean.
