I’ve sent holiday ecards, traditional paper cards, and skipped the whole process some years. But there’s nothing like hearing from friends and family. Sometimes hearing from folks I’m no longer in touch with (except for their holiday letter) are the ones I enjoy the most.
My husband thinks it’s ridiculous that people only get in touch because it’s Christmas. But he’s just being grumpy. Wouldn’t you rather hear from friends and family than not at all? I can promise you my holiday card this year is going to be devoted to my little bun (who is still in the oven).

i usually send holiday greeting cards via snail mail. to me, its worth way more because you can hang them up, like on the fridge or a special christmas greeting card holder. most of them have pics of families so it makes you think of them when you walk by through your house. they just seem so special to me when they are in paper!

I usually buy a box of really nice cards and send them to my loved ones and friends, but this year, I’ve gotten a total of 24 free photo cards, thanks partially to sites like this one for posting fabulous opportunities. Would love to win this for the other people on mine and mom’s list. We come up with a big list and yep, we have SEVERAL that we only contact and get contacted by on our lists. It’s a nice way to say “your not forgotten” and a generic way to say we’ll do better keeping in touch. haha!
