My favorite way to save money is by using coupons — in every form! Paper, electronic, downloadable, printable, codes, you name it. I’ve only been couponing since March of last year, and I’ve already saved thousands of dollars.

My favorite way to save is to never buy clothing full-priced and to use the local goodwill prices as my standard for a very good deal ie $4 for most items and $7 for dresses and jeans.

Sticking to a budget.

Elizabeth says:
I think a thrifty attitude is the best way to save money — being constantly aware of your spending! For me, though, getting rid of cable has been one of the best things I’ve done to save a bit of cash.
Keep up the thrifty attitude by dropping anything that is not necessary. I’ve never had cable and I haven’t missed out. Check out these site to watch TV for free.

I use Bargain Babe to save, of course; as well as all forms of coupons, free discount memberships with various retailers like SteinMart, etc. and staying on a budget. Money is tight for everyone these days so we all have to do everything we can.
My husband and I also publish a coupon magazine (AmericanSaver.com is our website) that not only has coupons but also has an article “Check It Out” that has ideas to help our readers save time, save money and have more fun…
It sounds a little illogical maybe, but I save money by using my credit cards. I’m a careful shopper, but I put everything I can on 3 reward cards that I have. I figure if I have to spend money on things like groceries and gas I might as well get something back for it. I earn reward points on the cards that I accumulate and either cash out or redeem for merchandise. This last Christmas, we finally got a 46″ HD TV and a blue-ray dvd player from the rewards from 2 of the cards. No money needed from the family budget! Caution, this method is only good if you pay off your credit cards every month. No running balances allowed.
@Donna Awesome tip! Definitely not for those that do not pay their credit cards in full once the bill arrives.
The 99 cents only store is a great source for fresh produce!
I save money by using my coupons and putting my savings in a savings account for vacations, debt elimination and holidays.
Almost without fail, I have received coupons via internet or postal mail after writing to a company with a question about availability or something else about their product. These are coupons with value, usually above and beyond the value found in the Sunday circulars. I do not get the Sunday paper which is another good reason!
