I think that you should have one section for new offers. A second section would be for offers that are still valid. The printable coupons are OK.
If I don’t get a chance to get the freebie offer right away, sometimes I need to look at the old ones. Also, I may tell a friend about the offer and then would need to go searching through old emails looking for it.
Thanks for the feedback! The problem with keeping a list of older offers is that it takes a lot of time to go through and make sure each one is still valid. And people become very unhappy when they go through the trouble of clicking on a link only to find that the offer has expired. But I appreciate your perspective and I will definitely give it further thought.
I agree that something should be done because, as a reader, I find the long daily lists tedious to get through. Some are just repetitive over long periods of time. Others, as you mentioned, have expired. Because of the length, I have begun to skim the lists and know I am missing some freebies I might have applied for.
To minimize the time it would take you to check all the freebies to ascertain which are still valid, how do you feel about posting a caveat that warns some may have expired, kind of a “freebie-ers beware!”?
I like the idea of a disclaimer against expired offers. What if I started a list on Monday and kept it running until the end of the week? Then I would start fresh with a new list the next Monday. That way the offers are never more than a week old.
Worth a try. A week seems long enough to have repeating freebies if a reader misses a day or two. I receive the freebies via email. Does the Website allow for searching, say, for previous freebies? If so, how far back? I will check this out myself after I send this comment.
