This post was brought to you by Corus Hotel, which have hotels throughout the UK including Lake Windermere Hotels, a Central London Hotel and their Famous Berkshire Hotel (an ideal wedding reception venue). Unfortunately they don’t have any hotels in New Orleans!

Any suggestions?
Thanks, Maureen

I have been three times and I love the Royal Sonesta. It’s on Bourbon Street. You can find discounts on the web.

I love the Holiday Inn Chateau Lemoyne on Dauphine Street. It’s one block from Bourbon Street. Dauphine is a much quieter street than Bourbon Street. I was there a month ago and they had great holiday rates. If you would like to stay in a larger hotel, the Sheraton on Canal Street is very nice. Technically it’s across the street from the French Quarter.
