I’ve benefited from others generousity by having a roof over my head and food in my stomach. DH & I are on hard financial times right now & some people have come to our aid.
Wow this sounds like this book is just the ticket for us. Our Church family is so generous about helping us. Giving food, and giving of theirselves. Feed America is also a blessing to to to help provide food for us as well. And for the 5Cap program to help us to have insulation in our home to keep it warm. There are very generous people still in this world. Sometimes it may not seem like it but there are. This book would sure help us out being senior citizens and being on such a low income. Bless you for making this opportunity available to win such a good book.
Just yesterday my in-laws informed me that they are going to pay for my husband and I to go visit my family for Christmas this year because we can’t afford to. Now THAT’S generosity!
I have benefited through others’ generosity in great ways. I was diagnosed with MS last year right after the birth of my first child. I list my job and things have gotten rough ay times. Through the help of friends I have not had to purchase a single jar of baby food or cereal, I have access to help with watching my son and housework on days I am not able to function, and I have had complete strangers help by mailing me their unneeded/unused coupons .
I have benefited through others’ generosity in receiving my education. Not only was my family was very supportive, but I received scholarships and fellowships to help with the financial burden and for that I am grateful.
Being that it is so close to 9/11, I want to say that I have benefited immensely from our servicemen and women. I am so thankful for those who fight for our country and freedom.
I have benefited from the generosity of my parents because they are paying for my daughter’s private school tuition this year.
My husband, two children and I live daily in others’ generosity. This may sound bizarre, but my mom & stepfather moved to China for his employment and in doing so bought a home in the USA for our family to live in so that they can have a US address while living in China. Generous indeed! I hope I win this book, and if not, I hope whomever does will see that Faith & generosity go hand in hand. Thanks!
I have benefited from the generosity of my employers offering to send me to many professional trainings over the years. It’s a win win situation – helps my career and helps me be a better employee for the company. Very grateful.
I have benefitted from the generosity of my parents who paid for my school tuition fees.
I have benefit from the useful information I find on daily blogs such as yours. I never would have learned about the correct way of using coupons and how to better provide for my family. Thanks!
I have to say that my parents have been the most generous people I’ve ever met. My husband was deployed to Iraq in 2004, he left when I was 4 months pregnant with twins and a 4 year old daughter. My parents flew 2500 miles to my home on base in Washington State and drove me and my daughter to their home in KY. Needless to say, the house was very crowded with my 2 younger sisters living there as well. But, they knew I needed loving people around to help with my pregnancy and deal with a deployed husband. My mom was there to take me to dr. appts and she was there to watch my daughters be born because my husband couldn’t. My dad meanwhile did everything he could to get the army to let my hubby come home and see his newborns, and they did. I’ve just always been touched by how much they helped me through a stressful time in my life. I guess thats what a good mom and dad would do for any child, but I really appreciated it.
My family and I were always givers. Always. Then the unthinkable happened. My husband had a simple surgery that went terribly wrong, leaving him unable to work. We went from $54,000/year to 0 overnight and stayed there for three and a half years. Since then, we have had to ask doctors to write off bills, one church gave us several months worth of groceries, and there have been other instances.
As far as God is concerned, He is abundantly generous with His grace and mercy. I couldn’t make it without those!
And let’s not forget Bargain Babe. You are the bomb, girl! Just the B O M B!
WE lost one of our sons in 2007 in a car crash. We were so Thankful to everyone who helped us through that time! Their Generosity was Overwhelming!
I was curious if you ever considered changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
