Good news! On July 19 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST, you’ll be able to get free financial advice from certified financial planners via Kiplinger.com.
The live web chat will be hosted by three financial advisers from the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). They will be answering your questions ranging from college planning to retirement planning.
Kiplinger is one of my favorite personal finance magazines because of its no-nonsense approach to money. The chat is part of its “Jump-Start Your Financial Plan” series that aims to help you with your mid-year financial checkup.
To participate join the live web chat on Kiplinger.com. You can also save the hashtag #JumpStartRetire on Twitter to follow the conversation. Questions and answers will also be shared on the Kiplinger and NAPFA Facebook pages. You can also go back to read the transcripts of the q and a after the chat is over.
Have a question? Make sure to ask it in advance as questions will be answered on a first come, first serve basis.

Oh bugger. I think my schedule’s filled for that day. Are they doing this on any other day?
@Tony Transcripts will be available after the chat. If you have a question make sure to submit it now.
I’m not around at the time of the Kiplinger Live Chat but I do have a question where should I submit my question?
@Michele You can do so by logging in (or signing up) at Kiplinger.com — it’s free. You’ll then be able to leave comments and questions. Follow the link above.
