“Emergen-C. I love this stuff! I credit it for being the reason I don’t get sick so often anymore.”
Ummm…probably not the reason:
(from their website)
“products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease”
@Stan It’s a combo of things that have kept me from getting a cold. I’m sure the extra Vitamin C doesn’t hurt.
Sorry, Yazmin, but a BargainBabe page shouldn’t advise people to waste money on nostrums that *can’t possibly* work, including Vit C. You’ve avoided getting a cold *only* because you’ve avoided contact with the cold virus(es).
@Stan I’m not advising readers to buy Emergen-C. It’s a free sample. Have a great day!
Yazmin: A free sample of pure hokum…not a good idea. Have a cold-free winter (however you do it)!
I swear by Emergen-C (and Airborne) products – I 100% believe that they have helped my system to build up immunities so that I, too, no longer get sick and/or as sick as I used to in years past (before I took Emergen-C and/or Airborne). In fact – I take one or the other daily.
Thank you so very much for the free sample lead, Yazmin – one can never get too many free samples now, can they? 🙂
Lisa: I have never taken these products and “no longer get sick and/or as sick as I used to in years past “. So, I guess NOT taking these is as good as taking them (and I save money that way!)
You are a very fortunate (and healthy) man, Stan!
Lisa: More (unasked for!) advice:
Avoid sick people!
Wash your hands, frequently!
@Yazmin ~ Vit. C is water-soluble; therefore, “extra Vitamin C” will make your toilet healthier!
@Stan ~ You’re right about avoiding sick people, washing hands, etc. Another “old wives’ tale” is that being in a draft can cause a person to come down with a cold. So many people believe that as well!
@Yazmin ~ I joined Totsy and unfortunately there are very few items less than $20 that are clothing except Valentine socks which are $.75. Just thought I’d pass it along. Love your site!
