Vista Print is offering a bunch of free office supplies, including 250 business cards, 140 address labels, 1 rubber stamp, a pad of sticky notes, 100 postcards, mouse pads, and more.
I’m especially tempted by their business cards because it makes me feel so official! To get the freebies click on the image at left.
Caveats: you pay for shipping.
You are supporting BargainBabe.com by getting freebies from Vista Print.
UPDATE: KellyM has done business with Vista Print before – watch out!
I made some very inexpensive cards on Vista Print and they look good – no ads on the back. I believe 250 cards ran around $10 including shipping. HOWEVER, their website is VERY tricky – they have tons of pop-up offers and you must read the fine print. Clicking okay can get you into trouble! Overall, the price was good but, you’ve got to be uber careful when placing your order!
this sounded great for the business cards but they put their advertising on the back of your business card. not so good after all.
Vista’s business card ‘freebie’ choices are limited in style, font, color, graphics, etc. If you want to add ANYTHING they’ll hit you with charges.
And yes, their business info is on the back, making the user look cheap.
Pass.

I took advantage of another offer (it was !.99 plus shipping for 250 cards).Since I am unemployed when
If I apply for a job, I include a card.
If you’re in an environment where you might meet someone who could help you find work, write on the back your field of expertise (‘Import’ for me).
It’s easy and doesn’t place a big burden on the other person.
Where I really like business cards is when I’m travelling. They’re the perfect for luggage ID both in an ID case and taped inside the luggage.
How many people have you seen filling out one of the airline supplied ID tags at the last minute.
I use the wide clear packaging tape to make the cards waterproof and stiffer. You could also put the card or a larger piece of card stock (used greeting card?) to make it easier to see (inside the luggage).
Cards are the easiest way to give someone your email address. Let’s face it, we use the computer so much our writing skills (the physical type) are not always that good; haven’t you puzzled over someone’s email address and couldn’t tell what was what?
Also when travelling in Europe, I write my cell phone on the back if I need to give it to someone.
So even if they’re just inexpensive, not free, they’re worth it for the time saved and the convenienes they offer.
Go for it Julia!
I have used Vista several times for cards, and have always been happy with how they turn out. If you don’t want their name on the back, you can pay a little extra for the custom cards. I always went for the free ones, and just paid the shipping. I use mine for social use, not business. So it doesn’t matter to me that their name & web site is on the back in small print. I have had many people ask me where I get the cards done, so it helps to have it there.
I have purchased the free ones before and was pleased. I selected the house image and made family cards. It has our address and cell numbers for the whole family on 1 card. Friends and family I give them out to love them and always ask where I got them and I refer them to the co info that is on the back of the card footer area.
