I eagerly awaited the release of the CouponCabin app. I couldn’t wait to have coupons, deals, and freebies right at my finger tips. But after downloading the free app, I realized while the app will save me a few bucks, you can’t scan coupons on the go.
The app has many of the features from the site. You can search online coupon codes for hundreds of online retailers, find deals on products, search printable coupons for in-store use, and score freebies. It’s great!
But I wanted to see more from the mobile app, namely that all the coupons and freebies can be scanned from my mobile phone. As it is, most of the deals need to be emailed or saved to print for later use. I’m guessing this is a feature that will be added in an update.
What I truly loved is that you can use your phone’s GPS to find the cheapest gas in your area. This is helpful when you’re on the go and running low. Deals can also be found by location!
Accessing your favorite stores, brands, deals and offers is fast as you can set them in your favorites. This guarantees you won’t miss out on all the deals! Finding coupon codes is also a breeze and you can save them quickly for later use. You can also set up reminders so you don’t forget to use grocery coupons. Love this — no more expired coupons!
For now, I’ll continue using their site.
If you’ve used the Coupon Cabin mobile app, I’d love to hear your thoughts — is it useful or not? What do you look for in money saving apps? Which money saving apps are your favorite?
