What are you doing for fun that is cheap this weekend? I am going on a bike ride with friends (free!) and am hosting a potluck BBQ (~$15).
My little sister is going to take advantage of the $1 pool table at the local bowling alley. All the other tables are $10 per hour, but she knows of this one table that is super cheap.
Other cheap thrill ideas:
Enjoy St. Patty’s Day parades and events
Go to a book reading
Attend a gallery opening
See a drive-in movie (often cheaper than regular movies)
Go to an indoor public pool
What’s your cheap thrill this weekend?
Thanks, Sarah and Stormy!
I am looking for “Cheap thrills” this weekend – Sat. am probably going to the St.Pat’s party at the Agoura/Calabasas Recreation center – last year I went, had local dance groups entertain – but scored a lunch w/Corned beef sandwich, drink, side and CHEESECAKE – all for $5!
On Tues. March 17th may go to a choral concert at CLU that evening – freewill offering…
I always go on a nice 3-4 mile hike/walk with a friend and then stop by Starbucks–get a regular coffee and add my own milk–it’s a hangout place for people with dogs so we end up staying over an hour for $1.90!
For UCLA fans, try the Pac-10 game on tv tonight–FREE!
For a cheap fun evening we’ve invited friends for dinner and then will play pinochle and spades.
