Re: “snookered by Cablevision” … dealing with cable providers has got to be the worst. One reason I don’t have cable is that they’ll never tell you how much it will really cost. A reduced rate for 1 year is nice, but I want to know what I’ll be paying after that, and the companies go to great lengths NOT to tell customers what their various options are.
I can safely say that if there was a $20/month cable-TV package, I’d get it. My DSL connection costs about that much.

Could you ask your readers if they have a good car recommendation for a cash for clunkers new car to buy that is good for children (lots of trunk or space for strollers, gear, etc) that isn’t a mini van?
