SO glad I don’t have to worry about this any more! Colleagues who are still teaching are sending home wish lists to parents, as they can no longer afford to buy supplies for their classrooms. Any of you who are parents, especially of grade school kids, PLEASE ask their teachers what it most needed, and then offer to provide what you can afford. It could make a world of difference to both kids and teachers. During my teaching years, I spent a fortune on “extras” (individual folders, etc.). I don’t regret helping my students, but if I had a nickel…
I stocked up on so many pens and paper that I don’t need that much this year. I am out of double sided tape, however, so I’ll keep checking out the weekly sales. Thanks for posting, Yazmin!
