Diana emailed me with an amazing story about how she racked up $108 in CVS gift cards!
Had to share my experience yesterday which was the best deal I ever got! My husband and I went to CVS to get our flu shots. They charged us $29 each which is a little more than the going rate around town – but . . . they had some sort of promotion going where we were given gift cards for the value of the shots. So the shots were essentially free.
But wait there’s more – I had my Extra Care CVS card with me and a flyer that had come in the mail the other day with a $4 off coupon. The pharmacist wouldn’t use the $4 coupon but did use the 2 new transfer prescription coupons for $25 gift cards each! So we walked out of CVS making $50. Now I just have to figure out how to spend all $108 in gift cards to their maximum potential. Any ideas?
I’m not sure how Diana managed to walk away with two $25 prescription transfer coupons when the flu shots were already free, but like Diana, I would not have debated the details! My local CVS only offers a 10% off coupon if you get your flu shot there.
If I had $108 in CVS gift cards I would buy Halloween candy, basic toiletries, and Christmas presents and decorations. I bet you could stretch your $108 worth of gift cards well into the new year if you use coupons!
