    I’m more of a fan of the breakfast burrito than the breakfast sandwich. I love a Mexican style breakfast burrito: scrambled eggs, black beans, salsa, and guacamole.

    I would a agree with Christina, I love a good breakfast burrito. My favorite includes scrambled eggs, refried beans, guacamole, cheese and bacon. It will last with you all day and then some.

    Anything on a bagel! I really enjoy WaWa’s turkey sausage, egg white, and mozzarella breakfast bagel sandwich.

    My favorite is an egg and cheese croissant! Many fast food companies offer these, but the best are the HUGE fluffy croissants from Costco with your own fresh eggs and a sharp cheese. There’s something about a warm breakfast that always gets me going!

    My favorite is the bacon, egg & cheese croissant from Winchells! They load it with tons of bacon, which I love because most places usually skimp on the bacon!

    My favorite breakfast sandwich is the one I make at home with a sunny side up egg with cheese on multigrain toast. Sometimes I’ll add sausage to it. It’s sooo good and my kids love it too!

    I am a fan of the basics:

    Egg & cheese or ham, egg & cheese on a Portuguese roll.

    With hot sauce and fried onions. Perfect.

    Well Now, on a non healthy non budget friendly level i guiltily admit I LOVE the steak bagel at Mcdonalds!!! you dont need to add anything to it except maybe a glass of OJ just to be a little healthy lol :)

    I love breakfast burritos, with eggs, ham, hash browns, salsa from a place called Birdies in Palmdale. But for on the go anywhere, i would have to say Ham Croissant from Burger King!

    Of course I love the classic egg and back in a pocket pita. but once an a while I just love to make a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast. Why not?

    I love the Hardee’s biscuit, egg and bacon sandwich! They have the best biscuits including those I’ve had down south. Trouble is not many Hardee’s in the area…maybe that’s why they are so special.

    My best homemade breakfast sandwich is a Trader Joe’s British Muffin with a fried or scrambled egg, a vegetarian sausage patty and a bit of melted cheese. Big yum, and keeps me full and satisfied for hours!

    Egg whites with spinach, tomato, onion and some mozzarella cheese on a toasted english muffin! Delicious and healthy at the same time. I highly suggest this.

    I love homemade egg mc muffins! I used to have the toaster with the poached egg maker and I would make them all the time to take to work wrapped in waxed paper and a cloth napkin. And, it cost about 90 cents!

    There is this small bagel shop in Michigan called East Side Bagel. They make an amazing bagel sandwich with egg and cheese (and crispy bacon if you so desire). The secret is putting cream cheese IN the scrambled eggs. On a salt bagel, with American cheese…there is no better breakfast sandwich.

    Huevos rancheros — beans, salsa, scrambled eggs, cheese, a little sour cream — served as a wrap. I guess it could be called a “huevos rancheros burrito.”
    Usually, though, I just have oatmeal. :-(

    My favorite breakfast sandwich is made of an english muffin, egg, and a sausage patty. I usually add some ketchup. I think it would be even better if it had a slice of tomato.

    My awful secret is that I love the bacon egg & cheese mcgriddle at McDonalds. I don’t eat it except on very rare ocassions, but I do love it…. These starbucks sandwichs look much better for me though and I’d love to try them! :)

    One of my favorite sandwiches happens to be at Starbucks: the egg white with turkey bacon served on an english muffin. This is one of my favorite treats!

    I like to make my own breakfast burritos with fresh eggs from my backyard chickens. I add homemade salsa, cheese, potatoes and black olives. I love to cook, but it’s nice to eat out sometimes and let someone else do it for you.

    My favorite breakfast sandwich is very unhealthy, but very delicious. It’s the McGriddle from McDonalds. I love its combination of salty meat (sausage), carbs (the sandwich’s pancake-y exterior), and sweet (the syrupy goodness inside the pancake). I might have to get some of that breakfast-y goodness now – I’ve made myself hungry!

    I am not a big egg fan so I order the egg mcmuffin at McDonalds and then take the egg off! Basically my favorite breakfast sandwich is ham and cheese on an english muffin :-)

    Gotta love a whole wheat/grain bagel with spinach artichoke spread (ingredients: cream cheese, harvarti cheese, chopped spinach, artichoke hearts, mozzerella, and minced garlic) and smoked ham or turkey… YUM!

    Starbuck’s breakfast sandwiches look interesting! About the only fast food I ever eat is McDonald’s Egg McMuffin. I’m not vegetarian, but I usually take the Canadian bacon off, so I try to find time to make my own version using a whole wheat English muffin, Laughing Cow light cheese, poached egg (in water), and lettuce for crunch. But, I’ll try the Starbucks veggie sandwich.

    One of my favorite homemade sandwiches is an egg and ham sandwich. What makes it super special is that I use In-N-Out spread in the sandwich. (Yes, every time I go to In-N-Out, I always ask for extra spread to take home. =P) It’s so delicious!

    The breakfast burrito at my workplace is my favorite breakfast item. Huge breakfast burrito comes with scrambled eggs, cheese, sausage, bacon, and potatoes. Ohhhh so good.

    For high cholesterol reasons,my blood levels have to be tested every six months.I am told not to eat any food after supper and usually have a blood test the first appointment in the following morning.Afterwards I enjoy an Egg McMuffin at McDonalds as a reward to myself.Since I have to watch what I eat everyday and eat healthy low cholesterol foods,the only time I get to eat the Egg McMuffin is twice a year every six months after my blood tests are taken.

    I think my favorite “breakfast” sandwich is one of the Jimmy Dean De-lights with the turkey sausage. It’s quick, filling and gets the protein in me. Although, I do like the Starbucks reduced fat peppered bacon sandwich and lately, a sausage biscuit or two have wandered into my hands!

    I don’t eat this often but it is my favorite breakfast. Trader Joe’s sells chocolate croissants in their frozen section. They come 4 to a pack. You need to put them out the night before in order for them to rise. Then in the am you pop them into a 350 oven for 20 minutes. Voila! Warm melty chocolate croissants. Yum!

    There was a diner in the basement of one of the banks in my hometown of Amarillo, Tx. that made an “egg sandwich”. It had a fried egg, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce; all on toasted bread with mayo. I still remember how yummy it was.

    I love making my own breakfast burritos for my family to take on the run. Lots of bulk sausage fried up w/ onions, peppers and garlic and definitely cheese. They are in the fridge ready to be grabbed after a quick warm up in the microwave. Yummmy!

    My husband’s very special breakfast sandwich called a Carrie. Layers of pork sausage, sunny-side-up fried egg, sprinkled with cheddar cheese, topped with Frank’s Red Hot Sauce all enveloped by a sourdough English muffin toasted with a spread of butter. Delish!

    When I lived in Florida I used to pick up breakfast from a
    diner inside of the train station! They make the best croissant
    sandwiches EVER! They used a big fluffy/flakey croissant sliced
    with a cracked egg in the middle with a slice of american cheese
    melted topped with fresh crispy bacon! This sandwich is so fresh
    and delicious it makes my mouth savor one right now and I am
    fighting back the urge of jumping on a plane and flying to get one! :)

    I love the BagelThin Panini breakfast sandwich at Einstein Bros. It’s a white or wheat bagel thin with egg white, two kinds of cheese, bacon, and a schmear of Country Pepper cream cheese, and it’s pressed in a panini maker to get those grill marks on top. It’s really yummy and it’s low-cal too.

    A local bakery where I’m from has an amazing breakfast

    I’m a real bargain babe! I make my OWN breakfast sandwich
    at home! Onion bagel, sausage patty and piece of american
    cheese…if I have time I’ll scramble up 1 egg to put on top. You
    can’t beat the speed of toasting the bagel while the sausage cooks
    in the microwave! It’s faster AND cheaper than any drive thru! I’d
    find time to stop and get a Starbucks coffee to go along with it!! ;)

    My favorite comes from a gas station down the street from
    my office. It is nothing out of the ordinary. Just bacon, egg and

    Mine used to be the ham omlette sandwich on the dollar menu
    at Burger King but for some reason they stopped making the sauce

    My most favorite breakfast sandwich of all is the one my dad makes for me every sunday since i was a kid. :O) He grills Marty’s sesame seed hamburger buns with butter, fries an egg over medium adds a slice of Land o lakes deli sliced cheese and fries up genoa salami til it’s crispy. puts it all together so yummy

    My favorite sandwich is McDonald’s bacon, egg and cheese McGriddle. The filling is a generous amount of crispy bacon on top of flavorful, melted amercian cheese and a good sized portion of eggs for a small sandwich. This is all surrounded by two slightly sweet mini-pancakes and is a wonderful variation of flavors. They do leave something to be desired in the calorie department, but as an occasional treat, they cannot be beat in my book!!

    Well.. the best breakfast sandwich was more about location that ingredients… Mon Jan 3, Cajon Pass, after a nite of freezing, snow, sleet, ice and depression, not to mention overflowing septic tanks and closed bathrooms.. I was happy to wait endlessly in line at a gas station Subway franchise for a ”sunrise siesta” of eggs,, cheese, even a little tomato, on flatbread, made on a food scrap littered cutting board by an overworked sleepless young man with a bad moustache and a worse attitude. They did take care to use those plastic gloves though, and it was nice and hot and melted and tasted great in the cold in the truck.

    I make homemade breakfst sandwiches every week with scrambled eggs, swiss cheese, sautedd mushrooms and bacon! They are delicious, I usually use buttermilk biscuits but they are really good on croissants too!

    My favorite breakfast sandwich is one that I used to make all the time some years ago. I would make a cheese omelet (with extra cheese because you can never have enough cheese) and then toast a bagel in the toaster and spread a little butter on it. Then add a piece of lunch meat on the bagel after it’s done. Then take the omelet and fold it into the bagel and add the top half of the bagel. Um Um good!

    For a healthy (and yummy) start in the morning, I go with the Subway egg white muffin melt and load up on the veggies. They have a deal right now – sandwich and coffee for $2.50. What a bargain!

    Wow! Can’t remember when I’ve seen so many comments for one topic! I usually prepare my own breakfasts, but when I’m on the run, and need to grab something fast, it’s Mickey D’s Egg McMuffin or Burger King’s ham and egg croissant without the cheese. Since I eat these infrequently, I don’t worry about the nutrition imbalance.

    I absolutely love my fried egg sandwiches. Put the egg in a heated pan with a little butter, break the yolk and add a little seasoning salt. and cook a few seconds… then the secret is add a little cold water and put a lid on to steam the egg. Then a little american cheese on top and a little mayo on some great fresh soft bread and “instant comfort”!!!!

    Ok – don’t knock it til ya try it – My trainer suggested that I have some gluten free toast and almond butter plus egg whites for breakfast. I was in a rush one morning so I scooped up the egg whites and put them on top of my toast and almond butter… So yummy and that is how I eat that all the time now!!

    Starbucks’ breakfast croissant is great! It has turkey sausage on a whole wheat roll. It tastes surprisingly like a Sausage McMuffin, but with much less sin attached to it!

    My favorite breakfast sandwich is one I make myself. Starts with a piece of whole wheat (double fiber toast) with an egg fried over medium with salt, pepper and dill (fried on one side and flipped to firm the yolk a bit) and a wedge of Laughing Cow light creamy swiss cheese. Spread the cheese on the toast, sandwich the egg in the middle and enjoy. YUMMMMMM!

    My favorite breakfast SANDWICH actually is Starbucks muffin sandwich with the turkey sausage, egg and cheese. I love that they use cheddar cheese, which gives it more flavor and it’s not so greasy like other places. Just can’t eat them right now between jaw issues and braces, so I’ve been sticking to omelets.

    My mother always made “egg sandwiches” when we left on car trips (which was always VERY early in the a.m.). I have continued the tradition and we can’t even go on a 2 hour trip without a warm egg sandwich in hand! It’s a fried egg, slice of cheese (whatever’s in the fridge), a thin slice of ham, and a SMALL amount of mayo on a whole wheat hamburger bun – put together when the egg’s still warm, wrap in foil, and throw it in the travel bag to be eaten in the car!

    I love most breakfast sandwiches. It gives me a chance to eat all the breakfast items I enjoy in a easy to hold and take along sandwich. I have a busy schedule with work, family and schooling. The easier things are to take along, the better.

    A very good friend of mine likes to make her own version of a Egg Mc Muffin sandwich for breakfast. That’s got to be my favorite. I really enjoy it when we’re able to spend breakfast together over a cup of coffee and catch up with the latest news in our busy lives.
    Hers are the best I’ve tasted. When I don’t have that opportunity a breakfast burrito at the local community college I attend is pretty darn good.

    My sister makes an awesome homemade version of the Egg Muffin… She toasts the muffin, puts a bit of butter, cooks the egg just the way I like it, with a slightly runny yolk and lots of pepper and then tops it off with slices of jack cheese and fresh tomato! YUM!

    I was at Downtown Disney last year and stopped at the Earl of Sandwich. My husband and I shared a ham and cheese breakfast sandwich and it was the best thing ever. It has sour cream on it which sounds weird but was delicious! I think it is a good thing that we dont’ have one near us or I would eat them all the time.

    I too, prefer a breakfast burrito, and a local cafe has bargain-chocked deals on the largest burritos anywhere. A fully-loaded three item burrito will cost less than five dollars, and one of their many user created burrito combos won’t break your wallet either! Our favorite, The Angry Beaver, with steak,chicken, cheese, sour cream, and pico-de-gallo. These treats are large and substantial enough to stick with you until dinner.

Wonderful fresh italian frying peppers and eggs cooked loosely as my father would say. Not a huge hard coagulated mass. This fluffy combo would be placed on crusty fresh Italian bread with a little salt and pepper. What a wonderful sight to unwrap that foiled delight!

    My all time favorite breakfast sandwich actually does come from Starbucks. It’s made with Black Forest ham, scrambled eggs and cheese on artisan bread. YUM!!!

    It depends on what I’ve got in the kitchen. I like one or two fried egg whites and a slice of cheese on an english muffin. A couple slices of bacon are a bonus if I’ve got it. I’ve also been known to make a wrap with scrammbled eggs, shredded sheese, crumbled bacon and tater tots! YUM!!

    I love egg in the middle of bread — not exactly a sandwich but then again, it is. Cut a circle out of a slice of bread with a glass — butter both sides — place in warmed skillet. Break an egg into the hole. I sometimes fry the center piece I’ve cut out, and sometimes just eat it without toasting, along with my egg in the middle of bread. Love it!

    I made this omelette sandwich the other day on scala bread: fried up some bacon.. removed with a slotted spoon. then fried some onions, garlic and mushrooms in the grease.. removed from the pan and threw in 2 eggs and rolled up the crumbled bacon, onions, garlic and shrooms and MOZZARELLA and placed between two toasted pieces of scala :) you tell me that’s not amazing.

    I love the country ham biscuit from Cracker Barrel. The ham is just salty enough and the ham juice melts into the buttery biscuit for a perfectly delicious combination. Just don’t let your cardiologist walk in and see you eating it.

    I LOVE breakfast! Every once and a while I will make breakfast sandwiches for my family. I use bacon or sausage and pile it on english muffins with fried eggs, a slice of cheese, and a hash brown potato cake. YUMMO! A billion calories I’m sure, but one fills you up for the whole day. That’s what I call a bargain breakfast!

    Growing up on Long Island and having a deli on every corner was great. You could walk into any and get a fried egg sandwich on a kaiser roll with bacon. They would even put the ketchup on it for you with a squeeze bottle that let just the right amount onto the roll. YUMMY!

    My favorite breakfast sandwich is from Starbucks! I love the spinach and egg white wrap. It has egg whites and spinach that is tossed with feta and some bell peppers. It is all wrapped into a whole wheat wrap. Although it is “fast food” it tastes great and is a good start to the day. Plus I can get my favorite latte with it!

    Having been an employee of Starbucks for many many years, I have tried every single Starbucks breakfast sandwich. And my absolute favorite is the Spinach Feta wrap, and its the only one that I feel like doesn’t make you feel all heavy afterwards.

    When I’m at home, nothing beats a bagel flat with a poached egg, vegetarian sauage, and some homemade hollandaise (a poor girl’s eggs benedict).

    Give me a hearty oatmeal sprinkled with raisins and cinnamon and I am off to a good start for the day. Breakfast sandwich may be convienent but seem to be full of carbs, calories and fat which slow me down. Especially in Minnesota winters, hearty oatmeals(which Starbucks serves) are the best. Thanks.

    I love making a low calorie “egg mcmuffin”. I use egg beaters, and a light english muffin. Sometime I’ll add turkey bacon, or some ham, but always a wedge of laughing cow cheese. And salsa! (my own add in)
    So delicious and much healthier and CHEAPER than buying one every day!!

    Not being an egg person, a breakfast-brunch BLT version makes me happy.

    Either in a wrap or sandwich form, combine crispy bacon, tasty tomato, spinach leaves and just ripe avocado.

    It’s reasonably healthy and filling.

    No need to snack until the next meal!

    My favorite sandwich is McDonald’s bacon, egg and cheese McGriddle. The filling is a generous amount of crispy bacon on top of flavorful, melted amercian cheese and a good sized portion of eggs for a small sandwich. This is all surrounded by two slightly sweet mini-pancakes and is a wonderful variation of flavors. They do leave something to be desired in the calorie department, but as an occasional treat, they cannot be beat in my book!!

    I truly love the Starbucks Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon w/egg whites & cheese. think it’s on a whole grain english muffin? It’s delish!!

    Today I bought the Starbucks sandwich that had egg, veggies, and Monterey Jack cheese on Artisan Bread. The veggies were very tasty and were in small chunks, mixed in with the egg. I was able to decipher what the veggies were by taste that is how plentiful they were. The cheese gave the whole sandwich a nice kick and the bread did not get at all soggy (a personal pet peeve). I am not a vegetarian and enjoyed this sandwich immeasurably. A must try!

    I tend to stay on the healthy side of things and like my eggs scrambled, then topped with fresh cilantro, tomato, red onion, and a little yogurt with herbs on grilled pita bread. It’s yummy!

    I like to toast a bagel and put turkey, colby jake cheese, and spinach on it and out the door I go. It’s warm, melty, and a light way start to the day!

    i Love the Huevos Rancheros wrap- its got yummy black beans, zesty salsa, and is easy to eat on a flat bread wrap!!

    Starbucks artisan breakfast sandwich with roasted onions, peppers, eggs with Parmesan cheese, and Monterey Jack cheese is my favorite!

    My favorite breakfest sandwich is the new subwy Western Egg Cheese sandwich. I like it very much becuse its warm, tasty,and cheesy ( i ask for extra cheese). I like to make sure I spend my money wisely and buying off of subway breakfest menu is worth it! I always ask for sme pickles, tomatoe, and a litle bit of lettuce. Also got to drink it all down with some Orange Juice. :)

    My favorite is the Johnny Breakfast Sandwich. Its on a muffin or bagel. Poached egg, Swiss cheese, and jalepeno… yum!!!!

    My fave breakfast sandwich is the pancake sausage sandwich from WaWa. Its two small pancake with sausage and egg in between. The pancakes even taste like they have maple syrup on them.

    As I was laid off in July 2009, I truly appreciate the value of bargains, coupons and freebie. They allow me to enjoy what would normally be beyond my budget. Starbucks is one of the things that makes life civilized. If nothing else, unemployment builds character and teaches you to take nothing for granted.

    Einstein Bros Bagels has an amazing spinach, mushroom, swiss egg bagel sandwich. All my dreams. I can’t wait to go home in April and have another, yummmmm.

    Low Sodium Sliced SPAM, Two Over Easy eggs in a Fresh Hawaiian Roll w/ Ketchup on the side.

    Cannot go wrong with oozing egg in the morning!

    I’m in Canada so not sure if I’m eligible to enter but my favorite breakfast sandwich is one I make myself. It’s simple scrambled eggs on toast with a layer of bacon between the toast and eggs.

    Western Bagel has the most wonderful lox spread! I order an everything bagel with lox spread and a large decaf coffee or if its hot outside (or if its hot outside a large iced tea) and with a coupon its only $2.95! A bargain in the San Fernando Valley or LA area! BTW Julia, we miss you in the SFV!

    For me it is my locally owned bagel shop that does it for me. At Bagel Boy, I almost always dial up a “Bacon Breakfast Boy” on an onion bagel. It features egg, bacon, the cheese of your choice and whatever else you care to add (I am always partial to adding green pepper). It is oh so good although I will concede I am curious to try the new offerings from Starbucks…the ads have been everywhere and oh so intrigue me.

    Hey gang! Gene-O’s got nothing on me. I am here to add my two cents and get entered. While the bacon breakfast boy does it for me too, I usually opt for it on a jalapeno cheddar bagel and it is so spicy…my cheese of choice is pepper jack..hot…hot…hot.
