The reader book winners all shared great tips on how to improve BargainBabe.com. And guess what? A lot of folks who left tips can get instant gratification – the site already has many features you asked for!!
Debbie ask for “a separate section for freebies and/or giveaways,” which you can find under the Coupons tab at the top of the site. There is a link to Freebies and Store Coupons and a link to Contests and Free Stuff.
Carrie and Rae Anne asked for almost the same thing. Carrie said she wanted a “MOST asked: Q & A so we don’t need to search thru previous blogs.” The Google search at the upper right corner of BargainBabe.com lets you search by keyword for old posts. Or use the drop down tabs across the top of the screen to search by topic.
Kristi asked for frugal recipes, which you can find here. From the BargainBabe.com homepage, click on the Food tab, then in the drop down menu click on Recipes.
LNAcurius asked for it to be “easier to find who won a particular give away.” The best way to find out if you won a contest is to read your daily BargainBabe.com deal email!
Robin asked for “free/low cost/deeply discounted places to take your child.” Definitely check out Bobbi’s post on 100 frugal and fun things to do with your family.
Cindy suggested “a member’s savings tip or experience once per week?” I would love that Cindy! Email me your tips and experiences!
Ok, now onto the winners…
Rishi wins the much-coveted “Coupon Mom’s Guide to Cutting Your Grocery Bills in Half” for her comment:
Have more tips to not just reduce expenses but also how to increase income.
Evie K. wins Free LA for her idea, which could be expanded to more than just recipes:
How about a forum section for your readers to share recipes?
Kerrie wins The Scavengers’ Manifesto:
I would like to see coupons from additional grocery chains as I live in a place that doesn’t have most of the stores that are listed. Also, I would enjoy more blog posts about ways to cut costs using alternative products (like using cheap shower curtains as drop clothes for painting instead of expensive cloth ones).
I really enjoy all of the freebies you post, and I always want to see more of them!
Tammy wins The New York Times Manual of Style and Usage:
Love your site! Would be nice to have a local tab where you could go to your neck of the woods to see bargains and deals in your area. I’d love The Manual of Style and Usage”¦although I don’t think this will help my already persnickitiness about grammar.
Winners email me your address and I’ll get these books in the mail soon.
