I don’t plan to hit the Memorial Day sales, although I am in need of a present for a baby shower in two weeks. Instead, I’m going to garden (i.e. pull out weeds), and finish projects around the house.

I did not plan to, but found myself in the mall today, and as I was in need of presents, got a good deal on children’s clothing. I did have the foresight of grabbing a coupon I had at home before end, making the deal better.

@Celia Good thinking! I decided to run out to Job Lot, which is kind of like RI’s version of Big Lots but smaller, in search of knobs for the kitchen. We recently renovated it and couldn’t stand to pay $4-7 per piece at Home Depot. They had a great set of knobs for $1 each! Granted, I spent 15 minutes searching through a maze of knobs to find 29 matching knobs, but it was worth it. Probably saved us $250 or more!
