An example of a Groupon voucher.
I occasionally feature Groupon deals and “social coupons” from similar sites like LivingSocial, FamilyFinds, and more. But I’m not sure if anyone is taking advantage of them. Are you interested in seeing more Groupon deals?
I like Groupon because I pay upfront for the discount – locking my savings – then have a few months to redeem the voucher. Most recently, I got a fantastic Groupon deal at The Body Shop. The deals are usually for at least 50% off the service or product and sometimes the savings are as much as 90% off. If you’re wary of Groupon, there’s nothing to be worried about. Just read the The Fine Print on the deal page to make sure to can comply with the terms. They are often very reasonable.
Here are a few current deals from Groupon and other deal sites.
- NYC: $15 for $30 worth of services at World Class Cleaners
- Dallas: $15 for $30 worth of gardening supplies at Redenta’s Garden
- Houston: $25 for two seats to hocken game, parking, and other perks
- San Clemente, CA: $15 for $30 of groceries at gluten-free market
- Los Angeles: $65 for massage and acupuncture or chiropractor treatment
- San Diego: $14 for two rounds of nine holes of golf
So, are you interested in seeing more Groupon deals? Let me know by leaving a comment, otherwise I may faze them out. Thanks for your feedback!

I LOVE Groupons! To me they are a wonderful way to purchase something that I have wanted to buy, but didn’t want to pay full price. Now, I have taken advantage of several Groupons and have been 100% satisfied.
Keep them coming. Also, free e-books for the Kindle. I just purchased one and can’t wait for it to arrive so I am really looking forward to those freebies.

I am currently planning a vacation to Oahu and have already purchased two Groupon deals with a possible third purchase later today. They’re a terrific deal. I want more. Even if I pass over 99 deals to find that 1 I want, it’s definitely worth it.

i appreciate you keeping us informed about great deals, however, i received the groupon emails myself. repeat info can get a bit boring. i hope im not comming across as ungrateful, thats not my intention

I appreciate the groupon deals that get posted that are outside of my region. While I do get daily groupon deals to my mailbox, they are only for my city. I like to see if other places have something I want. please keep posting

Like Groupons. Is there some way to look at the ones that are online deals. I find them at different cities but I end up with lots of emails for different cities. I would like to just see the online deals. thanks for your help

Any deal is a good deal.

I don’t need to see groupons or other social coupons on your site because they are sent to me every day. I think an occasional mention of the different ones would be good so that those new to this site and who may not know about them could then take advantage of them. I have and they’re great!

I ordered my first Groupon & now I can’t get it to print
Any ideas?

Yes I love Groupon and appreciate seeing other deals that are not from my city.

I’m with Leisl. I like seeing what’s available in other cities, because they are sometimes national chains, like the Coldwater Creek groupon you posted that was listed for Houston. I’ve gotten some great deals, especially at retailers where I am already a customer. Keep them coming! Thanks for all your great work. I so enjoy receiving your emails and reading your blog.

Groupon and similiar sites are great. I’ve purchased the “deals” from some web sites I discovered because of groupons. Now I’ll probably order from them again.
February 23rd, 2011 at 12:27 pm
I actually get the Groupon emails already, however, its sometimes fun to see other cities – like I bought the Blockbuster one from Atlanta the other day.
Maybe just do it if you see some hot ones? Or maybe once a week is all? It seems like all the blogs do Groupon features and the repetitions get boring, then you add Groupon’s own emails to that, and well, meh.

@Carole Hanna Once you buy the Groupon, you’ll get an email with a link to print out the voucher. So it’s a two-step process. Did you get an email from Groupon confirming your purchase with a link to print the voucher?

@Wendy Just because it says Houston does not mean it cannot be used nationwide!!! The trick is to check The Fine Print to see if the deal can be redeemed online. If it can be used online, it is a national deal because anyone can use it through the Internet. Make sense?

Please continue your Groupon relationship. I don;t use it frequently, but certainly a good program.

Groupon ROCKS! Not every one is useful to me but when one comes up for something we eat or do I grab them.
We paid 300 dollars for an all day laser tag event for our cubscouts with inflatables and they had a ball. Our troop could never have afforded the 600 it would have cost for 40 people to play laser tag for four hours.
MORE GROUPONS!!!!

I like Groupon too, but the only problem I have with it is they dont take Paypal, as other sites do not either, so I do not frequent them.

While I personally don’t use Groupon, it’s obvious that many people do, and really like the benefits. I have no problem with you continuing to feature them whenever you think it’s worthwhile. I don’t have to go with every single thing on BB, but do appreciate the things that I can use.

keep ‘em coming
February 23rd, 2011 at 2:08 pm
Yes Please! I look daily at regional Groupons but have received some great deals from national ones (when I’m aware of them). My fitness forum usually posts some of the Groupons which interests me, but there are so many, so yes, and thank you!!
February 23rd, 2011 at 3:38 pm
Please keep them coming, especially the national ones! I have purchased several Groupon and LivingSocial.

Not knowing anything about Groupons, I was surprised to see so much enthusiasm. To get an idea of what a Groupon is, I looked at the one in Los Angeles. Question: When a site tells the “value” of its offer, how do you know that really is the value without shopping around? Like anything for sale anywhere, they can say whatever they want about something’s worth.

I see their ads all over the place…and others talking about them…I don’t use them…I can’t remeber why I put them on the DO NOT USE list…I would have to go back and read their terms and policy…I have friends who do…so keep them…I know the reason has something do with their way the terms are written

I like Groupon and their customer service is great too. There have been a couple of times where I don’t think the deal is a fantastic deal, but when that happens I don’t buy it. Common sense. I’m traveling to Chicago/Toronto/Vegas in the next few months and I’m already looking for deals in those areas.

I love Groupon deals and hearing about them. I have used many thanks to this site!

Yes please. More Groupons!

I’m wondering if you can sign up for more than one area. I definitely want local deals but I also want deals when I’m on vacation in another area. Can you sign up for several areas?
March 22nd, 2011 at 7:37 am
@Moneysavingenthusiast Yes, you may sign up to receive Groupon deals in more than one city.
