Cable, cell phone, electricity, credit cards, heating -

I tried watching the video, but it was so herky-jerky that it was almost unintelligible. Too bad, as I was interested in learning more about wasteful spending. I stopped buying bottled water long ago, am careful about using lights and appliances at home, driving for no purpose, etc. I’m sure there are other things I could be doing to save.

Eliie, try using a different internet browser to watch the video. Safari should work. If not, try mozilla, or internet explorer.

@EllieD That happens to me too, but I wait two minutes or so before I press play to give the video time to load. Look for a light red bar near the ay button that “buffers” the video from starts and stops.

    great video bargain babe!
look at that lefty slicing carrots and sharing deals. i never buy bottled water and appreciate that you suggest re-using a bottle because it saves an enormous amount of plastic that may be recycled, but never turned into anything (reused).
    thanks!

@Aicha Glad you liked the video. I am in the habit of carrying water in a re-usable bottle everywhere I go, because I find buying bottled water embarrassing! I need to get in the habit of turning down offers for bottled water, too.
