Many companies and organizations are offering free 2011 calendars for the New Year. As you might guess, most of these calendars are promoting products, religious, or political beliefs. If you don’t mind the advertising, take fast action as there are only limited supplies of free 2011 calenders. My favorite free calendars include food recipes. Instead of ordering them online, I get them at ethnic food stores and bakeries. Here are five places to get a free 2011 calender.

Oriental Trading Company
Yesterday Bargain Babe wrote about this party supply store offering free calendars. To get the calendar fill out the online form and wait 14 to 21 days to receive the calendar. If you can’t wait, you can also download an electronic version of the calendar.

Unity
Unity, a Christian organization, is giving away a beautiful scenic calendar with a religious message. This spiritual living calendar comes with positive quotes and biblical verses. It includes major holidays and a lunar calendar. You must complete a quick form to receive the calendar in 7 to 14 days. You will be faced with a donation button at every turn, but you do not have to make a donation to receive the calendar.

Keep and Share
This free online calendar includes a to do list and is very similar to Google calendar. You don’t need to download any software and you can access the calender wherever there is an Internet connection. Create an account for free by simply typing in your e-mail, first and last name. The calendar can easily be shared with members of your family even if they don’t have an account. Or, print this calender. You can type in appointments without having to stick to a word limit.

Women’s Health
The National Women’s Health Information is offering their annual free calendar that includes information about common health concerns for women, risk factors for disease, and ways to take charge of your health. The calendar comes with reminder stickers. The center is no longer accepting orders for the English language calendars, but you can still order the Spanish language calendar.

Great American Conservative Women
The Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute is offering free calendars to college students with a “.edu” e-mail address. The calendar highlights “great American conservative women,” and includes tips and tactics to help students spread conservative ideas on campus. Calendars are shipped for free to U.S. residents. There is a limit one per student, and if a student wants to receive an extra calendar they will have to pay $10.

Calendar Labs
This website offers customizable photo calendars for free. You can upload family photos to create your own calendar. You’ll have to print the calendar yourself so you’ll end up spending money on printer paper and ink, but this is one of your best options if you want to avoid any sort of advertisement or propaganda from sneaking in to your home through a free calendar.

You can also find calendars at Krogers. Last year they were so pretty I got 2 and took the pictures out and matted and framed them. (They were Jewish pics and I am not Jewish, but the pics were beautiful) I also got one from our regional transit authority that had Dayton Oh street, trolley and history of pics up till the present. I am also going to mat and frame these and give them to my friends who live out of town next yr. for Christmas. Nostalgic!

@Susie A. I got a free 2011 calender as an unexpected bonus as part of an online ordering for note cards from Papyrus during their 30% off sale (thanks again for the coupon, Su May!) It’s the perfect size for my desk – small!
