Reader Mena has a dilemma. Please help her if you can! She writes:
HI do you have any information on at home face moisturizers? something for oily skin? Eco friendly? Please reply……
Mena, I have bought good moisturizers from the Body Shop, which is against animal testing. Also, check out my review of Return to Beauty, a really awesome book full of homemade beauty recipes.
What do you suggest?

I really like the Jason Natural products, particularly the Red Elements moisturizer and the Super-C facial wash. For a serum, I like Source Naturals. Both product lines can be found online at reasonable prices, but can be a little pricey if you find them in retail stores.

Personally, I have used Oil of Olay since junior high and still prefer it over all the others. I know my sis-in-law is partial to good, ol’ fashioned Ponds.

Go to cosmeticsdatabase.com or search for “skin deep.” This site rates many products for safety…in reference to an eco-friendly product.

Check the environmental working group for their review of any brand before you buy.
Jason has good ratings.

Banana Boat Sunscreen and a toner. Works better than any thing any dermotologist ever recommened to me.
