I tried to do this in the keys, but didn’t find a single “Keys” shirt and had to buy a new one. I just bought a dehydrator for $9 at our Goodwill and when I opened it I don’t think its ever been used!

Practically all my furniture and clothes, including nearly all of my kids’ clothes, books, and toys are from thrift stores. Even my three year old refers to thrift store shopping as “treasure hunting.” I’ll take a thrift store over the mall any day of the week.

We visit thrift stores when we travel, too, especially when we’ve flown somewhere. We purchase things like beach chairs and picnic gear. At the end of the trip we either give them to another tourist or donate them back to the store.
