Try Chegg.com You can actually rent books for a semester and return them for your money. There are deadlines, but if your school schedule doesn't match the deadline for returning the book, you can add time to your rental for an extra fee. Most deadlines are accurate though! Also, if you have purchased books, you can sell them to Chegg and recieve a check in the mail, or credit toward renting with Chegg. I haven't checked which is a better deal when it comes to getting money back, but every student knows what a headache buying/selling books is, and the "blockbuster" way seems less of one!
