Have been guilty of being a spendthrift for many yrs.
It was mostly clothes and Shoes especially boots.
In the mid 80′s they had the most wonderful boots!
And I had money. I still yearn for the ability to buy boots
But the boots nowadays just don’t come up to what
they had back then. Also I’m older now and can’t wear
bright royal blue suede fringed boots.
But at any rate the tables have turned on me and
it is teaching me to be more like a tightwad. I am
on Disability and believe me that income doesn’t go far
in Los Angeles, So now count every penny and that has been very good for me in my character. I now
hope that if I ever had the chance to have extra cash
I would spend in a much wiser way.

when it comes to shoes, I am a spendthrift; anything else, I wait and would be considered a tightwad
