I’m really curious as to what this Frugal Festival is about, can’t wait to participate.

That’s a pretty cool sign!

I’m thinking about doing a Frugal Festival in my area, of course giving you all of the creative genius credit
. I haven’t had any luck getting any media attention for my blog or any sponsorship, so I’m trying to figure out how to go about doing it myself. Would you mind this? It’s in Alabama, so it wouldn’t interfere with your CA stuff.

Hi Julia, I have a babysitting conflict during the Frugal Festival. I need to watch my grandchildren ages 27 months and 4 years during part of the time. Do you have activities for children planned, or a playground there in which my husband could watch the kids? I’m probably not the only one with young children who would like to attend. Also wondered about how much shade there is at that park.

Hi Carrie, there is a very small nearby play structure but it was for older kids, not a 27-month-old and 4-year-old. We don’t have any activities for kids planned of yet but I will post a note on FrugalFestival.Wordpress.com if we are able to add them. I certainly would like to have activities for kids.
As for shade, the entire area is shaded. We’ll have water and lemonade for refreshments to help everyone keep cool! Feel free to bring your own snacks as well.
