I odered the oatmeal/latte breakfast which is advertised for 3.95. I was charged .30 cents extra for a vanilla late when it says “ANY tall latte” on the ad board.
That made the total 4.59 with tax. I find that deceptive advertising.
It isnt “ANY” tall latte. I wont order that ever again.

I actually just wrote up a review of the pairings on my site. They were out of the sandwich I really wanted (the bacon one on the artisan roll), but the sausage sandwich I had was pretty darn good. Still, I though the in-store promotion was kind of low-key, considering that Starbucks did such a huge media roll-out.

I’ve had the oatmeal before and was not impressed that for three bucks (sans coffee) I watched them open a packet of instant oatmeal right in front of me and add hot water. Although the toppings made it bearable.

Thanks for the inside information, Chrystal! I love making oatmeal at home so I will probably not buy this deal regularly, but I am tempted to try it once as a mini-splurge!

I LOVE their oatmeal with all the side … brown sugar, cranberries and nuts. I used to get pastry and this is sooo much better. It’s a great bargain.

LMAO @ the Blueberry Coffee Cake’s “drying frown face”!!! Too funny!!!

I worked for SBUX for 5 years (ugh). Yes, the sandwiches are pretty good, although I’d never pay full price for one. True the oatmeal & latte are the best bargain.

It depends on your priorities: If you want to save money, probably better to go to McDonald’s or something. If you’re going to get SBUX anyway, this is a good deal. But it’s a shame they only include ordinary coffee and SMALL latte’s.

Yes, the oatmeal is good, but again, you could save money and just make your own oatmeal (SBUX oatmeal is NOT any better than store bought instant oatmeal).

If you are short on time and have the funds, you’ll probably like the sandwiches and oatmeal at SBUX.

The oatmeal is pretty good and much better for you than the pastry case items. I think their bfast sandwiches are good too. This price is cheaper than a bfast at McDonald’s (though w/o the hash browns).

The employees at my local Starbucks said the ones on cibatta are better than the ones on the English muffin. I had the one with bacon and gouda cheese & thought it was pretty good. I’d get it again.

I haven’t yet had this, but it still doesn’t seem like that great of a deal – I could make a lot of oatmeal and coffee for $4… But I do find it hilarious that the muffin in this picture looks like a dying frown face haha

I have had their oatmeal many times and it’s wonderful. You can get whatever additions you want: brown sugar and/or the fruits/nuts. It’s great and it’s totally prepped for you. All you have to do is eat it.
