As a professional, credentialed Special Education teacher who has been unemployed for over a year, I am getting tired and annoyed by articles that keep saying that education jobs are plentiful. The truth is they are only plentiful for substitutes and government-sponsored "guest" teachers from the Philippines and other exotic places. They work for a lot less money and don't complain about the state of education in this country.
